There Is No Uncaring In Unschooling
"He'd fooled us. He'd been learning all along--we just hadn't been able to see it because it didn't follow from our "teaching." It came from doing, sharing, and observing, from osmotically absorbing what was around him. I recalled that he once said to Mark, who was giving him snowboard instruction, "Dad, would you stop trying to teach me and just let me learn?"

What in the world are they doing? I'm intrigued. love, Val
Ooohhh... I LOVE your daughter's necklace! Almost as gorgeous as your kids are! :0)
One more comment: I just noticed her arms! Love it! My kids are pen and marker covered more often than not too.
Val, they are taking apart that wind up clock I was so proud of, a couple of months ago. The thing is unreliable and its alarm was disturbing local roosters. So I told the kids they could have it.
Candy, my sister made that necklace for Riley and its even prettier in person. My-Sister-in-Law designed them and taught my sister how to make them. They are WAY COOL.
