Good Lor-ed, woman, were you asleep for a WEEK?

She's amazing, lol. love, Val

Candy, yes. And since I am shamelessly proud of her I'll add, all of that is hand work. Henry took the picture. It was documented before I woke up.

Val, it felt like sleep for a week. But I swear, I think I was out for an hour and a half? I'd been up since three am. Surely she must have started earlier in the morning.

It turns out she started this project the day before. That makes more sense.

Rae-of-Sunshine! Nice to see you around. Stop by the club house and check in soon, okay? :o)

Riley! What a wonderful piece of art! Really truly fantastic. Next time there's a home school sale, I hope some of your work is there as an option. Seeing this made me smile and laugh and cry all at once. Thanks Riley.

Katie here -- just stopped by to say hi, and to direct your attention to a recipe I think you lot should definitely check out. When I made these I reduced the sugar in the brownie base to a little under a cup, and added some lemon juice to the chevre topping. I don't know it the lemon goes against your no-fruit orthodoxy, but it was epic. Either way, enjoy.

Also: that is one fabulous quilt! Riley is awesomely talented, and the bright orange was an excellent choice. I really can't believe she hasn't done this before -- this must be at least the third or fourth try, surely? *applauds*

Katie again -- I forgot to say, I also subbed in plain nonfat yogurt for half of the oil.

Right. As you were.

Such a beautiful quilt. WOW!

I was just browsing through some of the different blogs and stumbled on yours. I just started one myself so I'm curious what others are writing about.
