There Is No Uncaring In Unschooling
"He'd fooled us. He'd been learning all along--we just hadn't been able to see it because it didn't follow from our "teaching." It came from doing, sharing, and observing, from osmotically absorbing what was around him. I recalled that he once said to Mark, who was giving him snowboard instruction, "Dad, would you stop trying to teach me and just let me learn?"

I don't know who they are but I just LOVE old photos. LOVE EM. They make me happy and sad all at once. And these two are no different.
And by the way? Jose shoulda wrote childrens books. Totally.
Maria
Me too, Maria. They are my maternal grandparents. Aren't they totally hot? I love the look he is giving her. My whole childhood they slept in separate rooms and bickered every waking moment. But my sister caught them alone in the kitchen one morning before dawn. They didn't know anyone else was awake and they were all sweet and lovey dovey. I think they were very much in love. Pictures do not lie!
At first I liked the photos, but after reading your little story about it, I LOVE them. So sweet!
I wondered who they were! intriguing photos. love, V
