OUR CHICKENS ARE LAYING EGGS!
There Is No Uncaring In Unschooling
"He'd fooled us. He'd been learning all along--we just hadn't been able to see it because it didn't follow from our "teaching." It came from doing, sharing, and observing, from osmotically absorbing what was around him. I recalled that he once said to Mark, who was giving him snowboard instruction, "Dad, would you stop trying to teach me and just let me learn?"

WooHoo!!! What's for dinner? :)
Chickens are supposed to do that.
It's their bliss.
And it sounds like you've found yours.
;)
YAH!!!!!
I'm on the way. Nothing like farm fresh eggs. ;-)
Oh, fantastic!
One thing I've noticed is that we chicken owners take such pride in giving gifts as eggs while those receiving them, by and large, do so with an "Oh. Eggs." attitude.
Sarah, I know. I think its hard for folks to understand how much time and nurture have gone into anything you take back off the land.
We are waiting on our first calf, due this December. You might think my own daughter was pregnant. I feel almost that excited.
