There Is No Uncaring In Unschooling
"He'd fooled us. He'd been learning all along--we just hadn't been able to see it because it didn't follow from our "teaching." It came from doing, sharing, and observing, from osmotically absorbing what was around him. I recalled that he once said to Mark, who was giving him snowboard instruction, "Dad, would you stop trying to teach me and just let me learn?"

Well record that too! It's a wonderful sound. love, V
I love getting new baby chicks. I fully believe that chickens are addicting, at least they are to me. I can't wait to see pictures of yours! We're getting more this weekend and some more next week. Watch out though--after a few weeks your cute chicks will start to coat your entire bathroom in scary bird dust. I made the mistake of keeping 14 chicks in my back room for a couple months...the dust was horrifying. Now I brood them in the garage!
I want to see chicks in the bathtub. I do!
Ahem.....Baby chicks - not to be confused with hotel bathtubs. ;)
Sounds so cute. I'm waiting for those photos, LOL.
Went and did it Kat: http://screechowlfarm.blogspot.com/
Won't hold a candle to your candor, but maybe I will get brave in time.
Much love and thanks for the inspiration,
