Katherine, your backs are in a bag with your name on it in the freezer in the well house (the first little building on the left as you come in the driveway). They were 6 lbs., so $6. There is an envelope in the bag, just put your payment in the envelope and put the envelope in the wooden drawer under the scale in the store. Does this make sense?

Sure it makes sense. Especially if you grew up asking for "dime bags" and "half a dime." This modern life is so wacky and weird. Imagine what I'd have to do to sell a neighbor some milk? It gets so convoluted we may need underground lawyers who can arbitrate the underground laws. Thank goodness, as a midwife once said to me, "I enjoy feeling like an outlaw."
