I thought I was done blogging for the year. And I am, really. But I just have to mention that Felicity is in the house and my mother made her and Ry matching dresses. Those of you who have read about Felicity, and the dress she wears to meet the royal Governor of Williamsburg just before The Revolutionary War, know what I'm talking about. It think these dresses caused my Mom more agony than my wedding dress. She wanted every detail perfect and she did a great job. I don't think Riley has ever been so moved by a gift. It truly made her whole Christmas. She hardly takes the dress off or puts the doll down. Look, what a happy girl!

How beautiful and sweet!
Beautiful. One of those things your daughter will never forget.
Wonderful grandma. :)
That is truly marvelous..What a beautiful daughter, and dress.
A Christmas to remember! Beautiful!
Oh, K, what a beauty! I love the "twirly" photo....ah, I remember those days...and that grandma made the dress...really really special...she truly will remember this forever...and the photo of her and Dad...sweet.Thanks for posting one last Christmas post!
Thanks y'all. My Mom took that one to the mat. Sewing on satin is the devil! And I do think Ry will remember this her whole life. One happy child is such a light, huh?
Oh my goodness! How beautiful is that!
Hope you're having a wonderful holiday, Katherine! I'm looking forward to more in the new year.
That dress is beautiful - your mom should be proud. Seeing her granddaughter so happy must have been so gratifying for her.
