Here is the little booth where my Mom and I sold our wares. And here is the little girl who held one of my wands and patiently explained to me, at great length, that some fairies carry wands and some do not. She knew a suspicious amount about real fairies. I asked, "Are you a real fairy?" She thought quietly for a long moment. She stared steadily and deeply into my eyes. She said, "I am just not sure."
