I gave the children their own email addresses and they love them. Every morning I type each of them a message or send a sparky interesting link or sometimes just lovely pictures. And now my girl is asking to check her email. (Yes, they have to ask. My kids are not roving the internet alone.) Put another way, my girl is ASKING TO READ.

Awesome! I agree w/not letting them roam the internet....but what a great way to spark reading!
What a cute idea. My kids would love this.
My kids do actually roam the internet.... backing out of the room slowly.... :)
