There Is No Uncaring In Unschooling
"He'd fooled us. He'd been learning all along--we just hadn't been able to see it because it didn't follow from our "teaching." It came from doing, sharing, and observing, from osmotically absorbing what was around him. I recalled that he once said to Mark, who was giving him snowboard instruction, "Dad, would you stop trying to teach me and just let me learn?"

How exciting!! I'm thrilled for you!
Small is also cozy. Comfy. Close. It's so much easier to simplify when you don't have the space for much more than you need. And with teeny space inside and gobs of space outside, you're constantly drawn outdoors, and that's a great thing.
I suddenly see where your little Mr. gets his looks. I don't think I've ever seen pics of your hubby before. The place looks WONDERFUL!!! Such light, such memories...and you're gonna make more!~
THanks y'all.
Maria, you haven't seen dh before? No one doubt our sons paternity, for sure. Hubby is here on the blog. Last most current pictue was Christmas, I think. :)

For those of you who haven't been there - take my word for it that the atmosphere of this place is absolutely amazing. I am totally thrilled -- heck, I miss your old house, and I've only visited a few times! What great news.
