My mom is trying to learn how to use her computer. So, as a form of enticement and encouragement, I went looking for blogs by Grandmothers. I found one called the Carol Moore Report and I lifted that logo. I'm not libertarian so much, but I like that. Apparently the libertarian war cry is "Pro choice on everything." Hard to argue. Plus, I just love her furry underarms.
Anyone got links to older women blogging their hearts out? Emphasis on fiber art, grandkid care, dogs, sporadic gardening, even more sporadic house cleaning.
Oh, new thought. One day we will BE the older women blogging our hearts out.......won't we? Will we always blog? Will wheelchairs come equipped with lcd screens and keyboards? A future title? Handmade Old Age Blog Freak, don't forget to comment, you geezers!

Oh, I just love this idea that you mom is interested in blogging, and the idea of checking out bloggers that we'll become. I don't know, maybe we'll have moved out of the blogging phase. Maybe they'll be something else by that time. Like calling in your post. Everyone can click and listen to you instead.
I love how that makes me feel like a teenager - this blogging thing? Just a phase.... : ) I'm not too old to have phases. Yay.

Thanks maria!
Feel free to use the logo. I grabbed it from who knows which xeroxed zine 20 years ago. And check out http://pro-choicelibertarians.net
