See the little movie down there. I went looking for knitting help to offer some friends down in Houston. That's what I wanted and that's what I found. But, as so often happens in the excellent way of the universe, in trying to help these people, I have helped myself most. I have found Cat Bordhi. There is a reason her little movie down there is so clear and helpful - even if you have no need of increasing stitches yet. I am TRYING to finish a sweater for my husband. When it is done I expect you all to feel a little current of electricity dance through you. Or maybe the drought here in NC will end. Or maybe everyone will FINALLY get hip to Solar Power. Who knows what will happen? I am not sure myself, but I know it will be good. I will finish this sweater. Good things will happen.

One good thing, for instance, is that I will embark on the Cat Bordhi Mobius. Why? Well look at it. It is freaky. She is knitting in both directions at the same time. That is a thing I simply must do. I will knit in both directions at the same time. I WILL. Hear me. I must and shall.

They, and by "they" I mean Poppins and excellent unschoolers the world over, they all say kids are most inspired and best taught through example. Our passion is the key to their passion. When we are enthusiastic and happy, the children can't help basking in the sizzling glow. That flow of energy ignites kids. Where is it written, "Children will do as you do, not as you say." Good heavens, it is said by me on this blog about 100 times. Children will do as you do. What will happen when they see me knitting in two directions at the same time?

I don't' know. But I feel a new current of electricity buzzing to life.
