Oh Gosh. A midwife has been here, to my blog. That, kind of, undoes me. I LOVE midwives. I want to be a midwife. I may be yet, one day. I studied for years. I have a certificate from Sage Femme Midwifery School from Santa Cruz Ca. I have attended about 15 births. Three, including my son, were not natural child birth. Most were homebirths. HOME BIRTH. Feel it, people. I have respect enough for the medical profession. When you need them and the services they provide, you thank god for them. I am no exception to that rule. But MIDWIVES are a whole 'nother genre. Midwives RULE. rule. rule. rule.

I can't even say, the nostalgia, the gratitude, the respect I feel for these women. Homebirth Midwives! Goddess indeed.
