Well, that went better than I would have thought possible. After I learned how to turn the flash off, I started experimenting with f-stop and stuff. Cool! The pictures are richer, grainier, more satisfying. I had never noticed how much the flash ruins the truth and beauty of the light at hand.
I'm sure there's a metaphor for my life there. But I'm too excited and distracted to think of it. And anyway, who cares? This was my cleaning day, that I have now frittered away on pictures of the salt shaker, Lego StarWars figures, Ry's sun catcher, anything in the house sitting near any light. What a fun new way to capture our life. You can see how happy Henry is. He LOVES the new flashlessness. You can really feel his enthusiasm! I captured that well, no?

I can think of no better way to avoid cleaning, not a better reason.
look at you woman. I LOVE THEM...YOU ARE GOOOOOOOOOOD! you needed that tiny bit of technical advice but all the rest of what you are doing comes from an eye. you've got it.
I discovered that myself receintly, so cool. The tank shot is awesome too, and clean - schmean. Didn't we decide this summer that that isn't the most important thing??
Who's the goddess?? Go girl. (Now I"m gonna figure out how to get rid of my flash...)
