Well, I just learned about stat counters. I started this whole blog project as a tool to help me learn more about the internet. It sure has worked! I have just discovered what, apparently, the entire freaking world already knew. People know when you hit their blog. That means some people know that I am OCD. There are some sites I return to on some days lots of many times. Just checking. Just curious to see if anything fabulous has appeared. Just avoiding the myriad other things I should be doing in any given moment.
Its kind of like my ringing the door bell 100 times a day. No, its like someone hiding behind the curtain watching me ring the door bell. No, that's not quite right either. What ever it is, it makes me feel a tiny bit creepy. The internet is wonderful. But weird. But so am I.
Ugh. I could dig a hole and jump in. There is the truth world. But you already knew....

no no no! there is no shame in obsessive compulsive behaviour!!! we've all got a little touch of it. and hey...anyone should be flattered to be the recipient of your attention. yea, thats what i say...flattered!

oh yes i do...cuz i do it too. and so does everybody else. big whoop.
oh...AND...there is the matter of an obscession with stat counter itself. thats a whole 'nother kind of addiction. my friend becki says she is planning an intervention. she can plan all she wants...i ain't goin.
