Ry just read me a chapter from, Ghost Town at Sundown, a Magic Tree House book, in a few quick minutes. I helped her with, maybe, a word a page, sometimes two. The glasses are helping. And her work is paying off. When she finished she said, "This is actually sort of fun." "Ummhum," I said, "And the more you practice, the easier it gets, and the more fun." She said, "Can we do another chapter?" And that is enough said!

Meanwhile, Henry is upstairs working on a new story. It's a typed page, so far, about a radioactive possum. "I'm stuck with my story," he said. "Have you ever heard of an outline," I asked?

And P.S. Ms. Riley congratulations!! Hard work is hard work, but pretty soon it is just plain interesting! Ms. D has finished two chapters in a young adult fiction and is loving it. Oh, it clicks, it clicks, it clicks!!!

It's great when things are clicking! Sounds like you are on a roll around there.

Hey Sara, thanks. I just bookmarked your blog. Nice post about homeschool socialization. It means so much, coming from someone who was homeschooled too. Thanks for posting, K
